About

I am a visiting assistant professor of U.S. culture, politics, and history at Université Stendhal in Grenoble, France.

I received my PhD from the Program in American Studies, Department of Social and Cultural Analysis, New York University in January 2011

My work examines the theory and practice of radical and progressive social movements from the mid-20th century to the present.  I also pursue research on new forms of capital accumulation, and the shifts in culture and modes of social regulation that facilitate and grow out of these economic changes.

I am pursuing research and teaching postdocs as well as tenure-track faculty positions in American studies, labor studies, U.S history, and social theory to begin in the 2012-2013 academic year.
